I’m Maxine Willoughby, a Jamaican children's and young adult author, poet, and creative writer with a background in laboratory science and a passion for meaningful storytelling.
Pen and Purpose Studio is where imagination meets purpose. Through children's and young adult literature, poetry, articles, and creative projects, I create work that encourages young readers to think, explore, and grow while supporting parents and educators through thoughtful, story-driven content.
